Learning to LOVE learning

This was my motto, tag line, mission, etc for the last few years in the classroom.  My daughter has inherited her parent’s love for learning as well.  She soaks up anything and everything you put in front of her.  She asks questions all the time and actually listens and processes the answers you give to her.  It was the greatest thing in the world!!

Grandma Joyce got a new computer and we were blessed to inherit her old one.  It doesn’t connect to the internet.  It doesn’t have any cool bells and whistles.  But Mercedes thinks it’s the greatest!!  🙂  We have set it up in the living room and I loaded some preschool games onto it last week.  We’ve only turned it on once, but she had a blast.

Mommy helped her hold the mouse.  She was surprisingly good at moving it.  She liked the rolling ball in between the two buttons.  She loved seeing it move around though.  🙂

Like Mother… Like Daughter

I don’t remember how old I was when I first used a computer, but my dad has always worked with computers.  We use to race to see who could fix mom’s computer the fastest.  Just another generation hooked!  🙂
